The short-haired man opened the door, leaned down to let Gu Chengan go in first, then exited and closed the door.

Not a single word was said the whole time.

The office is not big, about twenty square meters.A desk, a chair, a set of filing cabinets, and a computer. There is a pot of pothos and a piece of bread on the table.

The man behind the desk looked to be in his early forties, with a medium build and a square face. He was wearing a pair of silver-rimmed glasses and a light gray Polo shirt. His hair was neatly combed but not greasy.

He is an ordinary-looking person who would never be found in a crowd. He is even more inconspicuous than a short-haired driver.

"Sit down and don't be restrained."

The man pointed to the chair in front of the table.

Gu Chengan sat down obediently, but for his absolute trust in the system.

He almost doubted the authenticity.

The man stood up and walked aside, opened a cabinet, took out a bottle of mineral water and gave it to him.

"How's the journey going?"

"Smooth."

"Have you eaten?"

"I had a sandwich on the plane." Gu Chengan said honestly.

"Can that thing be eaten?" The man smiled and pushed the bread bag towards him, "First, give it a cushion."

This opening was completely different from what Gu Chengan expected.

He originally expected it to be some kind of serious, ceremonial dialogue - lines such as welcome to the organization, you have officially become a regular member, and the country needs you.

The result was a bag of bread and a question of whether you had eaten.

"Thank you." Gu Chengan was polite and tore off a piece and ate it.I am really hungry, and the sandwich on the plane is not even enough to fit between my teeth.

The man watched him take two bites before speaking.

"Let me introduce myself. My name is Wen Liang, the current director of the Third Division."

After speaking he paused.

"The Chunfeng you have been in contact with before is my code name."

Spring breeze.

It's him.

Gu Chengan recalled the contents of the previous communications. The wording is concise, the instructions are clear, the replies are quick, and there is never a word of nonsense. He always thought it was an older, more serious man on the other end.

Unexpectedly, it was the man in front of me who looked like the academic dean of a middle school.

"I understand." Gu Chengan nodded.

Wen Liang took off his glasses, wiped the lenses, and put them back on.
