The next day, Shi Xiahe woke up at five o'clock.
It's still dark.
She opened the curtains and found that the light in the study next door was still on.
She was stunned for a moment.
Qi Yanci didn't sleep all night?
Just as I was thinking this, the light suddenly went out.
Shi Xiahe immediately walked out of the room, and as soon as he reached the corridor, he saw Qi Yanci coming out of the study.
The man was wearing a black shirt, with two buttons loosened at the collar, and the cuffs were rolled up to his forearm, revealing a cold white wrist bone.
His face was paler than last night, and there was heavy tiredness between his brows and eyes, but there was still a lingering coldness in his eyes.
Like you've just emerged from a high-pressure meeting.
He was obviously very tired, but it was still so cold that no one dared to approach him.
He was holding a cup in his hand, as if he was going to get some water.
Shi Xiahe immediately stepped forward: "Mr. Qi, let me do it."
Qi Yanci glanced at her and handed the cup to her without refusing.
Shi Xiahe took it and found that there was still a little coffee left at the bottom of the cup.
She made a move: "Have you been drinking coffee all night?"
Qi Yanci frowned, obviously not liking being asked.
Shi Xiahe immediately lowered his voice: "Coffee is refreshing, but drinking too much consumes energy and damages yin, and it can also easily disturb the mind."
She paused and then said, "You don't look good. If you continue to rely on coffee after staying up late, your body will be even more stressed."
The impatience between Qi Yanci's brows and eyes became even more serious.
Shi Xiahe shut up, poured out the remaining liquid at the bottom of the cup, washed the cup, took another cup of warm water and handed it over.
Qi Yanci took it and turned to leave.
Shi Xiahe hesitated for two seconds before speaking: "Mr. Qi, if you are too tired, I can help you press the acupuncture points on your head to relax a little."
Qi Yanci paused.
The air was oppressively quiet.
Just when Shi Xiahe thought he would refuse, the man suddenly turned around, walked to the sofa and sat down.
He placed the water glass on the coffee table.
"Press and see."
Shi Xiahe's eyes lit up: "Okay."
She washed her hands first and warmed her fingertips with warm water before walking behind the sofa.
Qi Yanci leaned on the sofa, his eyelids half-closed, but his eyebrows were always furrowed.
He was obviously extremely tired, but his whole body was still tense.
Like a bow that has been drawn too long.
Shi Xiahe made a gentle movement and placed his fingertips near his temple first.
The man's body stiffened slightly.
She immediately whispered: "Let me be gentle. If you feel uncomfortable, feel free to tell me."
Qi Yanci did not speak.
Shi Xiahe slowly pressed down.
Temple, Yintang, Baihui, Fengchi.
Her fingering techniques were very steady, from light to heavy, and she gradually opened his tight acupuncture points.
At first, Qi Yanci's eyebrows were still frowning and his breathing was shallow.
It didn't take long for the coldness that pressed between his brows and eyes to slowly dissipate.
The living room was quiet.
There was only the faint sound of wind outside the window.
Shi Xiahe stood behind him, slowly massaging the acupuncture points with his fingers.
