This family dinner ended hastily because of Pan Qiaofei's unexpected intrusion.

The cooperation that was originally planned to be discussed was completely abandoned, and even several joint projects that were originally finalized were forced to be terminated urgently.

The guests in the club dispersed. Before leaving, Li Mingye walked up to Lin Xiao without saying a word.

His back was still straight and his chest was slightly raised, but his usually flamboyant aura had somehow become somewhat restrained.

Stretching forward his knuckled palm, he faintly squeezed out two words from his throat:

"Go home."

Lin Xiao didn't say anything. She stood up with difficulty while holding the back of the chair. She ignored Li Mingye's hand and walked to the door. The floating hair passed through Li Mingye's fingers at that moment.

"Obey, I'll explain to you when I get home."

When Lin Xiao was almost at the door, Li Mingye noticed something was wrong with her, so his expression changed and he quickened his pace to catch up with her.

Then he picked up Lin Xiao by the waist, quickly stuffed him into the passenger seat, and locked the door.

Lin Xiao no longer listened to anything Li Mingye said. She kept holding her arms tightly and staring at the car lights disappearing like shooting stars outside the car window.

Lin Xiao rubbed his eyes and was surprised to realize that his silent tears had blurred the originally bright and clear light.

At this moment, Lin Xiao suddenly heard a sharp tinnitus in his ears, followed by an unbearable headache and vomiting.

She took a breath and hugged herself tighter, thinking that the emotions tonight were too heavy and she could just sleep.

Li Mingye glanced at it, and then asked worriedly: "Xiao Xiao, what's wrong with you?"

She suppressed the severe pain in her body and remained silent the whole time until the car stopped firmly downstairs at home.

After arriving home, Lin Xiao was so tired that she was completely speechless. She staggered to the sofa, kicked off her shoes and lay down.

"Xiao Xiao?" Li Mingye called out, but she didn't respond.

Such a reaction surprised Li Mingye. He had thought that Lin Xiao would yell and grab him by the collar and go crazy like before.

Looking at Lin Xiao who was curled up on the sofa with only half of his face exposed, Li Mingye suddenly felt a little more distressed. It seemed that he was really tired.
