Songer put the toast into the toaster.
Just as he pressed it, Gu Nanzhou's voice came from behind.
"Morning."
Song Er'er didn't look back: "Morning."
Gu Nanzhou walked into the kitchen and saw her baking toast, then looked at the refrigerator.
"You didn't drink milk?"
Song Er'er: "No."
Gu Nanzhou picked up his coffee and said in a tone that seemed to be easing the relationship: "I remember that you didn't like eating anything too dry in the morning."
Jiang Mian lowered his head silently.
She felt like she was standing here like an unnecessary fork.
Song Er'er took out the toast and spread peanut butter on it.
"Then you remembered it wrong."
Gu Nanzhou: "How could I remember it wrong?"
Song Er'er looked at him: "You can even forget to pay back the money. It's normal to remember this wrong."
Gu Nanzhou's expression froze.
Jiang Mian almost broke the toast.
At this time, someone came to the kitchen door again.
Lin Zhi wore a light-colored sweater and her hair was tied loosely, looking very at home.
She greeted everyone first: "Good morning."
Gu Nanzhou's expression softened a little: "Morning."
Lin Zhi saw the toast in Song Er'er and Jiang Mian's hands and asked gently: "Why do you only eat this? Isn't there milk and yogurt in the refrigerator?"
Jiang Mian whispered: "There are names on them."
Lin Zhi was stunned for a moment, then immediately smiled: "It's okay, you can drink my yogurt."
Jiang Mian was a little flattered: "Thank you, Sister Lin Zhi."
Song Er'er didn't answer.
Lin Zhi looked at her: "Sister Er'er, don't you want to drink?"
Song Er'er: "Don't drink."
Lin Zhi's expression paused slightly: "Are you still unhappy because of what happened yesterday?"
Song Er looked at her.
The kitchen was a little quieter.
Lin Zhi's words were very light, but they could easily be misunderstood.
It seemed like Song Er'er was still having a temper.
Gu Nanzhou also looked over.
Song Er'er took the toast and took a bite before speaking slowly.
"No."
Lin Zhi breathed a sigh of relief.
Song Er'er: "I'm lactose intolerant."
Lin Zhi: "..."
Jiang Mian: "..."
Gu Nanzhou: "..."
Song Er'er added: "I forgot to mention it yesterday, so I will add the character today."
A soft laugh came from the kitchen door.
Song Er'er turned around.
Lu Zhi stood there with a bag of breakfast in his hand.
He probably just came back, and he still hasn't taken off his coat.
Lin Zhi immediately adjusted his expression: "Good morning, Teacher Lu."
Gu Nanzhou also nodded.
