Outside the valley mouth.

Everyone waited quietly for half a stick of incense.

The dispatched scout flag quietly slid down the rubble, ran to the horse in a few steps, clasped his fists and whispered:

"Sir, we have found out. There are indeed ambushes on the cliffs on both sides, but they are not many, less than ten on each side."

"They were all sitting casually on the rocks sheltering from the wind, and some were taking naps. Their swords and guns were not unsheathed, and there was no tense posture to set up an ambush."

"It doesn't seem to be specifically targeting us, it's just a routine defensive sentinel."

Yue Dapeng thought for a while and ordered:

"Order ten brothers on each side who are good at lightness and touch them. Keep an eye on them for me."

"You can follow up after the large group of troops has safely passed the valley entrance. Put the guys away and remember not to attack easily. We are here to envoy, not to fight."

The general flag responded simply:

"As commanded."

"Wait!"

Yue Dapeng rolled his eyes and pressed down on the shoulder armor of the general flag.

"After these twenty brothers go up, there is no need to follow them any further."

"Leave ten more people here to look after the horses, and prepare two more days of dry food and water bags."

"You guys, number 30, are hiding in the surroundings, setting up camp and dormant."

"We'll meet up after we finish our errands and come out. If we encounter a tough idea, it's always good to have an escape route."

The general flag nodded, turned around and ordered all the people's hands. Twenty figures took advantage of the cover of the rocks and trees and disappeared behind the rocks in an instant.

Another ten people led the vacated horses and quietly walked around the perimeter.

Yue Dapeng then turned around and waved at the path-exploring sentry:

"Go forward and show the badge documents in a bright place."

After half a stick of incense.

The riders exploring the road ahead turned back and reported loudly:

"Sir! There is a checkpoint of the Tieli people blocking the road at the entrance of the valley ahead. Your Excellency's document of exploration and cooperation has been handed over."

Yue Dapeng and Chen Zui led the remaining seventy elite riders and rode into the valley.

Yue Dapeng sat upright on his horse, deliberately keeping his back straight, and glanced sideways at the towering cliffs on both sides.

A few human heads could be vaguely seen peeking out from behind the rocks, but they made no move to stop them.

After passing through Guimen Pass, the terrain at the mouth of the valley is slightly flat, and dozens of Tieliang sentries wearing leather armor have set up a roadblock here.

Colonel Tie Li inspected the survey of Daning's border troops and showed displeasure, but did not say much and only made a business-like gesture.

A few soldiers moved the roadblock, and the school captain led more than ten riders to lead the way, leading Chen Zui and his party into the Tieli Kingdom.

Follow the winding gravel road for about ten miles.

After turning around a mountain ridge, a stone city built on the mountain stood in front of us.

Yue Dapeng stood on the horse and looked at it for a moment, his brows furrowed.

He approached Chen Zui and muttered:

"Sir, didn't you boast before that the Tieli people are very good at building cities? How come Wuyan City, the capital of the country, is not even as good as the Cangya Castle we just built?"

"This city wall is only two or three feet high. Looking at its size, it can accommodate several thousand people."

Colonel Tie Li, who was leading the way, had sharp ears. When he heard the complaints, he coldly replied:

"Open your eyes and see clearly. This is a stone throat plug, not Wuyan City, the capital of our country."

Yue Dapeng's eyes widened and he immediately rushed forward and said sternly:
